Well after playing all campaings once I had enough of it. I only did the first campaign (no mercy) a few times with friends that is it. It is fun but lacks content for me. 10-20 new campaigns would be nice...Or just levels would be nice. Or something like the horde mode in GEOW 2.

How am I making R2 sound better? The op made a comparison and I asked a question. I like both games equally. I just question when we start making claims like best "online game of the year" and other nonsense. The 4/6/8/12 hours you are talking about in R2 is the stand alone off-line campaign, which sadly L4D does not have. As I mentioned previously, the coops are very similar in their approach and execution and both games include a versus multiplayer. My only problem is L4D is way too short. I know Valve will be releasing DLC, but on the 360 it will cost money. L4D has 20 levels, but in multiplayer each level can be completed in about 10 minutes, even less if the infected win.

Cause 4 hours = bad( at least to some people) and its longer than 4 hours, and playing against the human infected always takes longer than normal COOP.

Nop, but I almost never play a harder mode in a game....Except for COD veteran mode.

I wish I could be content breezing through on the normal modes. I end up wanting to beat the game on the harder modes and end up getting pissed when it's uh...harder.
Home from work at last. woo hoo, time for some Left 4 Dead........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
L4D is beyond awesome.
The only glaring problem is still the lack of content but we are supposed to get DLC soon.
Yeah the game takes like 5 hours to beat, but unlike Call of Duty single player the re playability is endless in the sense the spawning points are ALWAYS unique and your always busting it through with 3 other peeps - who may or may not be prepared making every online experience unique.
It's just that simple.
Yeah, L4D is a really fun game to play with friends. Being a zombie gives you such an empowering feeling, and planning strategies with other zombies sure is satisfying when it come to fruition (Smoker/Hunter packs can be pure nastiness
).
And it means even more seeing as I think the FPS genre is somewhat tired now a days. This game kinda took the genre and my expectations, shook it up a bit (ala Wario Land: Shake It!), and it created something entirely new and fresh.
So yeah, Left4Dead... it's the good stuff! ![]()
2 questions:
1. If you don't no anyone IRL to play together with, is L4D still fun to play with unknowns from Xbox Live?
2. Are there problems with persons qutting during the game - and ruining it? - in random match-ups?
3. Is communication via the head-set necessary or very important?
