90% for a game with literally no story, imagine if Left 4 Dead just had a tiny story instead of just that awesome intro, that right there would have bumped the score up by an extra 5%

You know some good DLC to add a story would be the 4 survivors having to go rescue Zoeys little sister or something.

 

TBH a story would be much appreciated but I don't think anyone that has played this feels the game needs a story. If they do they're missing the point of the game.

Well 4 me, I havn't play a p vs p this addicting in years. Being an infected is just as fun as playing humans. I think 'm going to play it right now. =)



 

You wanna have your opinion, then you have to respect different opinions as well.

What does this have to do with any of my posts?

Edit: Nevermind.  I don't want to derail the thread.  I own and love L4D.  If someone creates a thread comparing the coops of R2/L4D I will post my thoughts there.  L4D is a great game, I just want more of it.

Left 4 Dead is the shit! I don't have the amount of time to game as most gamers probably do but if I did, I could spend much time playing this game. I'm still trying to complete all of the campaigns on advanced. Online is cool too but I think you have to play with the right people

If i wasn't heading to work right now i would be playing this GEM of a game too.

I didn't finish my last post. What I was gonna say is that I think you have to have the right people to play with when you are the infected. I'll be on there and I see kids as the Hunter just randomly pouncing on the survivors. But this game is addicting as hell, I like it a lot. I'm actually gonna go play some in a few minutes.

Totally. Especially if you're the Hunter you cant go after anyone unless A) there are only 3 or less characters alive and B) they are fighting off a horde of Zombies.

Or like you said, a good team ;)

 

I also find people hog the Boomer ... which pisses me off because I never get to be the Boomer .... they just spend the entire level looking for a place to hide so they can get the achievement.
