Right now it's scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2009.

This is the one game that I know I will be buying this year.  It might be the second game I get on Day One this generation (Brawl was the first).

I am pulling for this game so hard. I want it to sell extremely well because the developers are putting their heart and soul innto making the best gameplay experience the Wii has to offer. I hope they get supported by the public. I would love this game to outsell something like RE5.

COD: WAW is a high quality product. I'm sure many here agree.

Nice interview, I love how these guys handle the interviews, always pretty straight forward and to the point. Giving good examples to why every other developer is stupid to say "core titles don't sell on Wii" because HVS doesn't take the core crowd for granted, they know the core crowd is smarter then to buy a bunch of ports, core people want new games and games built for the Wii so it looks and plays nice without that stale port feel to it.

 ya, that would be cool, it would show them. A fricken RE4 port sold 1.7 million on the Wii, and they cant even give the COD:WaW treatment here... come on.

I personally believe if this game sells REALLY well (like 2.5 million or more in 09) then the HD console will start see more and more franshises head over to the Wii. THIS game could be a paradimn shifter, and that is what the Wii has been needing, once that happeneds, the flood gates are open. That is why HD fanboys ("journalist") have been trying to "kill" the wii... because it is just a matter of time, the Userbase is there, now the industry just needs the burden of proof (a high end Core 3rd party exclusive Wii game to sell very well)

Hyping it on internet forums won't really help the game, it needs mainstream advertising and good word of mouth so it has legs. If you really want it to sell, hype it to all your friends that couldn't give a crap about forums or games sales because all your friends that do like forums will already know about it.

I like their attitude towards Wii development. They seem to be putting quite a bit of effort into the game, but I wasn't really impressed with what's been shown so far.

I'm not an FPS fan, so i really don't anticipate the game that much. But it is a title i still could pick up.

As for promoting the game, since Conduit is the type of game Nintendo wants third parties to make, there's atleast Reggie been mentioning the game lately in somewhat every occasion he could.

@Gamerace: HVS does have little experience with FPS, but that could turn out to be a strength for the game (it definately is the reason why HVS is making an FPS for Wii). If the game isn't original, it may still have an original feel in it and what's the most important thing, this is what they actually want to make (makes the game "special" in a way, but also, Conduit 2 won't be perceived as good as the first one).
