The consoles lose because they cannot have their hw customized in order to obtain the best resolution, but a pc can. The computer screen has alredy a better resolution than even HD tvs. There´s no point comparing graphics. What you can compare is compatibility, since very probably your pc isn´t what the game demand, giving a lot of problems that a console wont have. Mine WaW pc version runs with a horrible lag, single player. I played formely a x360 thta runned perfectly. So... take your conclusions.
P.s. I rather play FPS in the PC cause of the controls, but don´t have the money to upgrade every time a game demands. And I did run the game in the lowest reso possible.

PC graphics always look better, better textures, effects, further draw distances, better Frames per seconds, picture looks clearer and all on high resolutions of native 1680x1050 (22" montior) and more(better than a HD-TV). But then again it all depends on your setup. If you own a 2005 setup, the console will win, but if you own a 2008 PC you be pwn all consoles. But then again it comes down to graphics card setup, CPU etc..... I have 2x Gf 8800GTX 760mb cards(Sli) in my PC and a duo core 3.0ghz cpu, 4Gb ram and you can see the diffence right away between PC and console games.

Look at Crysis, well ahead of its time. No console with have graphics like it this gen. I remeber when people were comparing Haze to cryisis before Haze came out on the PS3.

Why do these threads keep coming up? High end PC's have more power and a proper PC version of a game will sport higher res, better lighting and probably more effects on a monitor with higher resolution support.

The console version let's you play at lower cost (for HW) and sit in a nice couch in front of an HD TV.

PC graphics at the high end always win - and the older the consoles are the bigger the gap with latest PC specs.

i said i want comparison with videos or pics not a explanation... i have a ps3 and gaming pc so i know which one loooks better on which but i dont buy 2 of the same game to compare them
