Member Blog?
each member can write there own blog on the site...i think this would be a very cool, fun, and interesting idea.
Their blog would go in there profile page (like other websites) and can be viewed, comment, and ranked..
Good idea????

Why bother? The folks who are into that sort of stuff just make MySpace-esque threads, and this won't deter them.
Maybe. What if you take into account the post count or the VG$ or the member status. I don't think just EVERYONE deserves to be read on a blog. You should earn it.

ioi....er Brett...actually volunteered this idea a while back. There wasn't much interest, though.
I kinda suggest that a while back. A journal/blog feature.
Some mods said they were scared it would kill the forums. I dont understand why.
I want it. It'll stop alot of the annoying fanboy/troll threads. I would hope so at least.

I like this idea. "The VGChartz Gods" are people I would definately be interested in reading reviews from.
On another topic regarding cool ideas for the site I would like to be able to add consoles that I own (like we can for games) and be able to specify if I have beaten the games I own on my games page.
Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.
One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.
Dear journal,
While busily pondering the sanity of vgChartz members this morning, I tripped and hit my head on the toilet. While slightly dazed, I had a vision of the processor to end all processors that would make games beyond equal and would work for every console manufacturer. I quickly wrote it down. Unfortunately I was assaulted by a brown-haired man in an orange life jacket and he stole it from me. He was mumbling something but all I caught was "Man, this is heavy." I wonder what that means.
In other news, my fiendish plans to take over Zimbabwe were foiled by a group of meddling kids... and the Zimbabwe army. I vowed revenge of course. In the meantime, I will take on a weaker, more easily conquered country like Burkina Faso or France. Work is progressing steadily on the doomsday device. I know all super-villain manuals recommend it, but I'm still unclear as to why I need it.
Well it's been a busy day and I'm off to bed. Nighty night journal.
PS: Journal, I write all these letters to you and you never write back. You're a jerk.
NooooooooooOOOOOOOOoooooooooOOOOOOOOOoooooooo
Please don't even consider it Brett! IGN's member blogs are a waste of space. We don't need that here. We have forums which work very, very well.
Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
