One more potential!

Seriously, the word "potential" should be scratched out from the PS3 vocabulary. It's starting to look ridiculous.

bu it certainly looks better than any 360 game in 2009 going of previews.

piss off!

From the footage we've seen, it certanly doesn't. Alan Wake runs circles around it as does the GTA4 DLC. They need to show more of the game in order for you to make statements like this...

ahahah lol !

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

I own both God of War games for the Playstation 2, and I never finished more than the first two levels of each of them. It's not really my genre, haven't been since Turtles in Time.

Also, I'm kinda worried about the third installation since I heard nothing at all about it except for how the graphics is going to be mindblowing. I don't doubt it will, but... I just hope there's more to the game than that.

Of course, it's going to be a great game. I'm just a bit worried.

Star Ocean 4 looks better. Anyway, God of War is like 300. It's for male teenagers and adults that are in love with violence and shades of grey, brown and red.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

I feel faint when i look at god of war 3 as well, cos kratos has such a great bo-

I mean erm, whatever

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

Actually, 300 is as popular with the girls as it is with the boys.

Indeed. God of War III is Sony's "Triforce of Power" in America for Q4 2009. Now if they can just manage to link that with their "Triforce of Wisdom" in Europe (Gran Turismo 5) along with their "Triforce of Courage" in Japan (Final Fantasy XIII) with a $100 price drop in all territories, Q4 2009 will be an epic time for the PS3.

God of war 3 is not even close to the titles you mentioned , it will not help ps3 sales at all.

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

While Star Ocean 4 is for emo's in love with melodrama and bright rainbow colours?

Seriously though, the target audience -'violence loving teenagers'- for God Of War is huge.

It's by far the least impactful of the three games, but if you think God of War III's release will have an insignificant impact of PS3 sales then you're sadly mistaken.

To put it in perspective, God of War III will have a bigger impact than any game currently announced to be coming to 360 including Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Ninja Blade, Alan Wake, Ninety-Nine Nights II, and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction. The only unannounced upcoming 360 exclusives that are even in the same ballpark as God of War III as far as selling systems is concerned are Forza Motorsport 3 and Mass Effect 2, and both of those are still quite a ways under GOWIII.

Simply put, if God of War III won't "help PS3 sales at all", then Microsoft is in big trouble because they don't have a single game coming this year that will sell more systems than GOWIII.
