One more potential!
Seriously, the word "potential" should be scratched out from the PS3 vocabulary. It's starting to look ridiculous.

Dear Gavin Carter,
Stop surfing YouTube for Final Fantasy videos and instead spend that time bringing all of us PS3/Fallout 3 owners some DLC!
Sincerely,
The Fallout 3-playing PS3 Community
Should be a good game...but no one will be fainting trust me.

Reckons Final Fantasy XIII looks fantastic, too. We're all looking forward to God of War III on PS3 here at VideoGamer.com. Our fearless leader Tom is especially excited by the prospect of taking Kratos on a Cell processor powered adventure through Hell. But it seems there's one person in the world who's more excited than everyone else, and that's Fallout 3 lead producer Gavin Carter. Speaking on the official PlayStation website, Carter said he was most looking forward to upcoming instalments of PlayStation series that haven't seen a true next generation debut, and chief among these is God of War and Final Fantasy. He said: "Everything I've seen on the new Final Fantasy games has looked fantastic, and I feel faint when I think of the potential of a PS3 God of War game." High praise indeed, especially when you consider it's coming from the lead producer of a game that for many was the best of 2008. -------------------------------------- god of war 3 certainly is looking to be fantastic, i predict god of war 3 to be a huge game for sony especially if it releases this year. |
No..really? God of War 3 is going to be huge? What gives you that impression? That's the boldest prediction this site has ever layed witness to..you've outdone yourself, Skeeuk!!
..........give me a break dude..........
Fallout 3 will still be Superior then anything exclusive on PS3 this year (That's probably because i love RPG's and love Fallout).
GoW will look better then most games agreed (but graphics do not make a game), but in games like fallout graphics do not matter (hell i've played Fallout 1 this summer and it was great).

was that jab even needed or justifiable?
I think we have seen a lot of PS3s potential last year, like the warm rain of VGChartz awards for PS3 games has shown.

I'm sure there will be great PS3 games this year, and I don't doubt GOW3 will be a great game for those who like the franchise... I just don't get the point in hyping titles without even having seen anything about them. It ends up hurting the PS3 in the end more often than not (look at Home).
Perhaps my jab was not needed, but I think it's justifiable... Just tired of hearing about potential when the PS3 already has a good games library. The PS3 more than any other console is the victim of premature hype.
