Do they include MHP2G cheaper edition sales in MHP2G total sales because otherwise they seem rather low.

Good year for PSP.

They count it separately, it sold 199k during 2008 period, so combined should be at 2.65m.

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

Gonna be an interesting year for the DS seeing as 1 out of 5 Japanese already have one... lets see if they can make it 1 out of 4!! Go DS!!!

I agree, but only if Monster Hunter 3 and FFXIII are released. Otherwise I don't see a lot of reasons for all 3 to sell more than this year.

360 should sell a bit higher than this year due to Star Ocean 4 and RE5 (is there any new Mistwalker project btw?).

w/ FFXIII coming 2009 I think PS3 sales will surpass this year's, 360 will be constant and Wii will be Wii LOL

IF ps3 gets:
FF,GT5,RE5,SF4 and price cut($100) then I can see it hitting 2-3million easy.. without pricecut 1.5m looks more likely

-no idea what mistwalker is upto,cry on looks like a "tabula rasa" for now.

Monster Hunter and the Nintendo First Party Wii games seem to be the big winners.
