Its HAMAS they are fighting. Of course no ones going to question it. Its Israel vs. one of the most easily loathed groups in the world.
If Hamas were to make their selves in the slightest bit respectable, then maybe just maybe we might be able to feel for them. Otherwise its just very sad that so many must die.

really? so you can be arrested for snowball fights?
I see a lot of American people here defending what Israel is doing by saying;
'Hey, if Canada threw missiles at America we would've done the same'.
But that is pure BS, because it is actually Israel, backed by the guiltfeeling of the West that robbed the Palestinian people from their ground.
Also, The Gaza-strip is now the biggest open-aired prison. Because no-one without a double pass can come in or out. It's only 300 square kilometers and has 1.5 million inhabitants.
The fact that America says it wants to achieve a cease-fire is undermined by their bonds with Israel which holds them from blaiming them also, they only blame Hamas. And people who claim Hamas is a terrorist organisation is also BS because the US and the UN wanted a democratic vote, they got it and Hamas was the winner. Also; one man's terrorist is anothers liberator.
I think the Veto-rights within the UN are the main thing which stops them from acting on several 'hotspots'. Everyone agreed Israel's reaction is WAY out of proportion but the US used their Veto to stop this resolution. I actually hope Hamas puts up a good fight because Israel is doing what the Nazi's did in WO2. Yes, that's a bold claim, but I stand by it. They are suppressing the inhabitants of Palestina, it's a genocide! And the only thing you Americans here in your biased news like CNN and FOXNEWS are that Hamas threw 30 rockets today towards Israel.
Let me tell you something; They are more led-pipes with a lot of gunpowder instead of Rockets. They only have an impact-crater of 1-2 meters and only if you get one on your head your bound to die. What Israel is doing looks more like total annihiliation.

The veto vote is ironic because Russia and China have used it in cases where their vested interests relate to Zimbabwee and Mugabe along with Sudan too.
Ironic because the West complains about that suspension of justice but when Israel was going to firstly be publicly shamed over accusations they were infringing on human rights for Palestinians including mass non-combatant casualty deaths and then, just last week, the demand to halt military action in favour of a ceasefire, both were vetoed by the US.
Look at the history of veto's by the 5 permanent members and there is clear bias, vested interests and shameful ignorance of moral standards.
It should be changed because today its not just about 5 countries, after all its the G12. If they required 2 countries to veto a decision the war might have been stopped last week. Britain and the EU don't want it to continue.

If a police officer saw you throwing snowballs (and was a big enough jerk) you could be ticketed/fined for it.
Really though, it's more like vgChartz's rule of "thread titles must be descriptive." Most people know the rule, but lots of people break it all the time and don't get in trouble because no one cares to enforce it.
