Forums - Nintendo - Wii's back catalogue

Everybody on here is already talking about the games of 2009 but unfortunately i'm behind the times. I've been living in China for the past 5 years and although i have purchased a Wii i haven't really had ready access to games.  I will however be returning to Australia in 2 weeks so i have alot of gaming to catch up on.

So far i have Wii Sport, Wii Play, Mario Strikers, Galaxy, Okami, Brawl and Prime3.

I'm open to playing any kind of game so i'd like my fellow Vgcharterz to recommend me ONE game (each) that i must play and why.

Thanks in advance.

Just one, eh? In that case, I think you should make it...damn, this is hard. If you haven't played it before, Resident Evil 4 deserves a play-through, although the reasons are too many to list.

If you've already played that, then go for World of Goo (WiiWare). It's a very well-designed physics puzzle game that's fairly lenghty, pretty ingenious, and challenging without being frustrating.

For Wii Ware Try Lost Winds, and World of Goo.

De Blob is an amazing platformer, and if you liked Super mario galaxy then get De Blob.

I'd also reccommend skate it, boom blox, no more heroes, zelda tp, mario kart wii, call of duty world at war, and guitar hero world tour.

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

De Blob. Got it for Christmas and couldn't stop playing till I reached the end. Interesting and gorgeous so yea...a must buy for Wii owners.

360 Tag - narfwack

I'll second No More Heroes as it's one of those games unlike any other. (At least untill it's sequel comes out in 2010)

It's crazy over-the-top perverse fun and a lot of it.

We can only recommend one?

Twilight Princess. If you like the pevious Zelda games you will like this one.
