Cubs fans do that as well. I used to be one. I came from one of those rare families that rooted for both teams, but couldnt take the majority of fans and the ownership of the team and said good bye to the Cubs when Maddux left the first time for less money. I was also one of the few Cubs fans that even when I was a kid hated Wrigley Field (hate Comiskey Park as well) because they were/are dumps, guess I sat behind one too many poles.

Why are you attacking Cubs fans on a gaming forum? Does it really make you feel better? You guys won the World Series. Make fun of us if you want but what you are doing is the exact reason why Cubs fans resent Sox fans.

Atleast most of the answers here have been honest but really hating Nintendo fans is weird.  I own all three consoles and regularly bitch about all three of the console manufacturers but having hate for a system because of their fans is something I find hard to fathom.  I used to own only one system so sure I would stick up for it but I never hated the competitors...hence why I own them all now!

I also find it hard to believe that harcore games and gamers for that matter will ever die...look at all the various fanboys on this site, they are so hardcore they are biased!

If every sytem was like the wii, which doesn't push HD graphics at all, forget it's limits, doesn't support strong media capabilities, uses motion sensinging for all games(the only ones worth a damn on the Wii use it)that I dont really like that much. If systems like these sell more then HD it is a sad time because then companies 'MIGHT" think they should follow in the Wii's footsteps. Kinda how 360 followed in the PS1 and PS2's footsteps. Imitating the most successful console is not new to the game. It happens every gen. So how is that not a bad thing for those who appreciate super high graphical capabilities and don't like waggle controll that much?

Because the games you like are not going to suddenly disappear, if at all. Do you see? You're creating an extreme scenario and using it as a justification to hate something.

I agree with you forevercloud3000 that's why I own them all but every console doesnt have to fit the blueprint of PS3 (The system you own) to be good!  I love the GFX of my PS3 and 360 and like the waggle control of the Wii (when used correctly anyway)!  If that is why you hate the Wii it's understandable because it certainly aint no graphical powerhouse and has no media capabilities like you say...it does however play some very good games!

I really hope Sony or MS stick to their guns next generation and use a controller because I would hate to have three system with Wii motes...that would be my biggest fear of what repercussions the Wii's sales could have for the industry going forward!  I do however look forward to the inevitable Wii 2 in HD with waggle intact!

Everyone here who is saying that the quality of Wii games are below par and site reviews as their proof are complete idiots.

Game reviewers are biasied idiots. If they see that it's going on the PS3 or 360, nine out of ten times it'll get a 9 or above. I hate seeing games like Halo 3 or GTA IV getting 10/10's when the game was barely fun at all.

Everyone here who is bashing the Wii's library should do the following:

1. Go to your local gaming store, such as GameStop
2. Ask where the PS2 section is
3. Realize that you're looking right at it because 1/4 of the entire store is dedicated to the PS2
4. Look through all the used ps2 games
5. Realize the shit the ps2 had on it


90% of the PS2 library was uttershit. So, with your logic that the massive amounts of "bad" games on the Wii will kill the industry, this gen shouldn't even exist now.
