Maybe in sales on PS3...but 5 bucks says FEAR 2 sells more on PC+360+PS3 than Killzone 2 on PS3 alone. Not a big acomplishment I know...but considering that FEAR2 cost much sell to bring to all 3 systems, I think its worth pointing out. Game quality should be on the same level. I see both games getting over 85 on metacritic.

 

good true, but its impossible for exclusive game to do such a feat especially a game that sells on PC too.

mgs4 managed to pull a strong one... though.

that is good too know, i will get fear 2 on my 360 and maybe killzone 2 , i am not sold on killzone 2 yet. specially since their isnt a co-op mode.

I beg to differ, their best franchise would be AVP or NOLF. FEAR was good too though, I loved that game.

Although i enjoyed FEAR I just don't think a part 2 is necessary. Just another example of milking franchises.

I disagree, this is the first real continuation of the F.E.A.R franchise. Vivendi milked it with those awful expansions.

I have to say fear 1 dissapointed me after a good start to it.I actually bought the game having downloaded  demo.i hope this is better but will probably check out reviews and blogs first.

FEAR was the best looking game not to long ago. When the J man played it in 05 he was addicted to it , now he wouldnt touch it with a 4 foot pole.

 

Its funny fps's seem to look more dated faster than any other genre.



N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

Killzone 2 will completely overshadow this, poor fear 2, it wont be a port and it wont sell too much either!

AvsP wasn't their franchise. FEAR is owned by monolith tho. They were hired to do a sequel to the so so first game and my god did they do a good one...but they don't own the rights to the game nor will they be involved in future sequels if there are any planned.

I think they own the rights to Blood, FEAR and Shogo and thats about it... rest of the games they made as guns for hire.
