1. Have a FAR bigger userbase
2. Sell more on the holidays

good example , uncharted was in various software charts for many months , the game just won't stop selling . Other great examples are resistance , heavenly sword, R&C ,motorstorm 1 and 2 e.t.c . These games might sell horrible at first but when they disappear from the charts .....that's when the huge sales' numbers begin !!!!

So what? That's the way competition is working. Too bad for Sony if competition sells better and they can't compete with other game's legs. But just to please you CoD:WaW (PS3) and Madden NFL 09 (PS3) sold better than LBP and nobody started a thread to praise the legs of those games.

It is an amazing game, and the same idea seems to be happening to other PS3 games that have had less than impressive starts. One of which being Motorstorm 2, like you said, not a good start at all but it is crawling to the 1 million mark as it is selling a steady amount each week!

No one hated on CoD and Madden, no one said it flopped.. etc..
The other platforms have no business here. We are talking about the PS3 and its exclusive LBP.
