With capcom emphasizing RE5 multiplayer that would make the WII the least attractive for graphics and multiplayer, I would say over a million but 360 and PS3 will easily sell more

Anyway, to Re5 sales.

Now situation:

X360: 2.6 mill
PS3: 2.1 mill

If RE5 was also on the Wii:

X360: 2.4 mill
PS3: 1.9 mill
Wii: 2.3 mill (with good motion sensitive controls)

Wait, wait wait. RE4 selling a million on Wii is amazing, when Wii Sports has sold over 30 million, Wii Fit and Wii Play are above 10 million, several games are above 7 million...

I would say a million sales is actually pretty disappointing.

I would predict around a million sales for RE5. But I'm not sure the Wii could handle the version of the game that PS360 are getting, so it's probably more trouble than it's worth.

Remember  that many people that own a Wii probably owned a console last generation with 1.69 mln sold on the GC and 2.72 on the PS2. For an old ported game it's sales of 1.67 on par with original GC version are pretty damn impressive. Some people bought it and played it because of the controls but many did not, because they know the story already, and for some gamers like me it's the Story that's the best thing about RE franchise.

Anyone predicting under 4 million for the 360 version will be very dissapointed with their prediction related to the games sales...

It could happen, but acting as though it's a given shows you haven't looked at the series sales. It hasn't sold that well since the PS1 days.

2-3 Million on the Wii if there was an Ad campaign.

Why would the Wii version take away sales from the PS3 and 360 version exactly?
