Reminder : this topic is NOT about :
1) The supposed price of a rig to run Crysis smoothly,
2) Is Crysis a fun game or not.

Thanks.

Thank you, people here seem to forget that.

too bad only supercomputers can run it at that resolution. It looks great... But please, you can't compare it too what the majority of people can play.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

Crysis runs smooth on a $500 rig, high settings.

PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)

yeah, but how many people would go out, hand pick computer parts, and go build a 500$ pc? It's a shame, I know, not many people do, but they should.

Not very many, but does it matter? High-End PC gamers are either rich or resourceful.  We've never been mass market, we're just people who want to push technology to its limits.

By the way, the build in my sig runs Crysis wonderfully for under $500.

It's HILARIOUS to see all the Ps360 kiddies say, "oh graphics don't matter!"  or  "those graphics aren't THAT much better!" I mean, that's what Wii owners have been saying since '06!

To truly appreciate Wii, you need a badass PC and experience the absolute best graphics available to gamerkind, then after a few weeks you reach enlightenment and realize that graphics aren't everything.

Here is a video of the difference between the low and ultra high settings on Crysis. Make sure to watch it in high quality.

Here is a video of Crisis running in ultra high settings. I found this interesting because the pc setup used to accomplish this wasn't exactly a supercomputer, however a custom configuration was used.

The system specs were:

- GeForce 9600GT 512MB DDR3
- Intel Q6600 overclocked to 2.9GHz
- 2GB of Memory

Here's the video. The link should be to the high qualilty version.

BIG difference there. It kind of looks like Far Cry on low.

The hand and gun models looked nice even on low though.

if the ps3 & 360 graphics are enough then why they want to make a PS4 & xbox720 ?

You can build a desktop PC for under $800 that would run Crysis and Crysis Warhead in Ultra High settings.

Just curious if there are still people coming in here trying to argue that Crysis isn't the best looking game ever made?
