lol... I was actually upset that there wasnt a 23 million option for the PS3... well this was one interesting end-of-the-year :P

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Basically confirms the invasion of PS3 fanboys on the website for the last months.

So, if Christmas is gonna be huge then Wii will end up with around 45 million. X360 with around 27 million and PS3 with aprox. 20 million.

Quite in line with what people expected. Only slightly underestimated the Wii, as always ... And gotta say; one hell of a spur for X360! NEVER expected 27 million... More in the 25 million range!

WTF are you talking about?

Sadly enough, I over-estimated both the PS3 and PSP by several million units

I think it can actually be summed up by lack of a price cut. sony bucked the trend customers had been trianed on by forgoing a yearly price cut. ms kept the tradtion alive. if sony had even cut by 50 bucks sales would be higher for there system, they would have beat last years ps3 sales

has a console ever recovered from a down year in its second full year to sell more the third year?   i expect the ps3 to, but id like to know if there is precedence

I know the wii has not cut its price, but demand for units has still not been met, so until they can meet demand nintendo does not have to cut price

I wish I could remember all my predictions with certainty.

I remember saying the Wii would break 40, could hit 45- 50 depending on how much they increased production.

I don't think I called the PS3 breaking 20 - I think I called 18-19m.

360 I called 30m.
