My predictions:

1. PS3 pricecut won't be 100 dollars or total of 100 dollars. There will be a cut around Q3 for 50-75 dollars.

2. PS3 will be recreated with 3 new SKU's for europe in 2009 (not including bundles. Mostly due to value adding.

3. God of War III won't be released 2009.

4. FF XIII won't be released outside Japan 2009. Will hit PS3 in Japan late 2009.

5. Rare will annonunce Kille Instict 3

6. First non Halo game will be announced by Bungie

7. Blizzard announces that they will start doing games for consoles.

8. 360 will see a new pricecut with 50 dollars on Arcade. All SKU's will be upgraded in terms of HDD. WiFi will be builtin in 1 or more SKU's.

9. Wii will sell even better then 2008

My predictions:

1) PS3 price-cut in March... Sales will be above those of X360.

2) Wii has peaked in 2008... 2009 will be almost the same as 08 though, maybe 2-3 million lower!

3) DSi will be introduced but will not reboost the system as the DSlite did, sales will be worse then 08... Which isn't something to be ashamed of! Will crack 120 million next year!

4) Factor 5 bought by Nintendo, Kid Icarus coming.

5) Nintendo announces new Zelda for Christmas 09 and other core IP's!

6) MadWorld and The Conduit won't sell a million! Although they will receive critical approval and core-gamers will love it!

7) Silicon Knights forced to file for bankruptcy. Hopefully Nintendo will buy 'em!

8) Killzone 2 will be beter then CoD4.

9) Sony will say they have no plans at the moment for a succesor to the PS3... Reason, not a profitable market with their way of approach! Maybe something totally different next round, as Nintendo did with GC->Wii.

10) Best selling game of the year will again be WiiFit. You bet!

11) Starcraft 2 will be EPIC!

12) Some developer will acquire another developer ... Lol.

13) Still no HL2: EP3 in 2009!

Why on earth would they do that?  Because they're sick of making tons and tons of money?

PS3 will sell over a million in Japan next year so YTD, that is all :P

Fixed

Cashing money now doesn't mean that they will do it forever. Their games has been stellar but with console their sales would skyrocket even more. Gping mutliplattform would be logical and now that both PS3 and 360 are reaching over 20 million and 30 million the base is big enough.

Both 360 and PS3 sales will begin to stagnate and then decline near the end of the year(save for the weeks of big game releases).

Wii sales will see a 10-20% rise.

Several other Wii games will overtake Halo 3.

I also predict the DS will sell past 52 million in others, 28 million in japan and 40 million in america's

1. PS3 sales in Japan will top 5-6 million by end of 09
2. PS3 will get a price cut around summer 09
3. PS3 slim released Xmas 09
4. PS3 will outsell 360 09 yearly sales
5. 360's RROD will get alot worse not better.
6. PS3 will outsell 360 in Europe
7. More devs will switch too PS3 as lead console
8. More PS3 exclusives.

9. Wii sales will start too slow down.
