That's some pretty interesting discussion on ps3 vs x360 rpg library when in truth there's something like 5 titles total which aren't shovelware (LO, ToV, Sonata, VC, Disgaea 3) and two of them aren't even jrpg but srpg ones.

 From what i understand FF XIII is not turned based and more like FF XII, Which is dissappointing to me I like the world maps and I like turned based fighting and I like random battle encounters but it has to be done right and the pacing has to be right and I like the options that automatically battle out the insignificant I am 50 levels higher then the fight requires and win in one round with no damage.

 

However I will try the demo with FF:AC BR(then trade in the movie when I am done) and if I buy it will be on the PS3.

PS3 but I don't own a 360 but if I did still for PS3.

Wow do people those times need to have reminder in every sentence that everything said on forums is someones opinion?

i would like to think anyone with ps360 would get it for ps3 because its lead development, but whatever floats your boat

me im getting it on ps3 for the above reason, and i like the ps3 controller more....just my 2 cents

PS3, playing with lots of discs doesn't bother me really, but if I have the option I would rather just use one disc. I'm sure both versions will turn out to be top notch.

PS3 by a long shot.

And for the few of you PS360 owners who are actually planning on buying the 360 version, I'd really advise you to compare the reviews of both versions before making a purchase.

XIII will be the first high caliber game developed on PS3 first, then ported to 360. After being coded specifically for cell, I wouldn't expect much from 360's general purpose CPU.

If all you own is a 360, then I guess the choice is obvious. If you own both, the choice SHOULD also
be obvious:)

since square betrayed sony i wont buy ff13 no matter how good it will be

nahh! why make urself suffer because of the war between 2 companies which are both "evil" hahaha

i will buy the ps3 one coz dont hav 360, simple as that
