If we add 10% of NPD to the NPD figures for USA only, that gives 390K. Which puts VGC 50K over. It still reached 1M 5 weeks after the NA release.
Plus it has only been released in Europe for 4 weeks...

Like a I said before, LBP isn't a complete flop, but it is a major disappointment.
If LBP didn't sell as many copies as there are PS3's out there, it's not getting the sales it deserves.
1 million in 5 weeks is good but that is with the help of others and japan. The sales are steady enough to get a million but no where they should be or where people claimed they would be.
The sales of LBP in the Americas is pathetic and that is what this thread was about.

LBP will reach 1mil in US alone sales are fine.
Most people stated LBP will get 2-3million with a good amount saying 4million. Hardly anyone (except 360 and wii fanboys who dont know about this game) said higher than that. Hell! Just as many people said LBP wouldn't do over a million who said it would do over 4 million(see sig).

Obviously it will eventually hit 1 mil in the U.S. it just should have gotten there a lot faster than the pace it is currently on. Sony was expecting this games to sell a lot better and while it is not a flop and will probably hit around Drakes Fortune sales they were hoping this would be the game that would really boost PS3 sales and sell like hot cakes. It is selling like lukewarm cakes.
It is selling well, but not nearly well as it should be or as well as it was expected to.

yes it's flopped, although it reached 1million in 6 weeks.
that's mainly cos' it released during Xmas season, the sales r rocked high at the moment.
and don't forget even games like kongfu panda on xbox is outselling it at the moment.... :P

I own the game, and we're just talking sales. Please stop using annoying fanboy terms like "hateboy".
I mean Lego Indiana Jones and kungfu panda on xbox r outselling it in others :P isn't it amusing? :)
