no matter what it hits they will alwys say it flopped, because one of the best games ever made isnt on thier system thats all.................

I'll give you "New IP", but "genre people have forgotten about"? Last time I checked, this gen has given us a 3d-platformer that's at 7,5 mil, and a 2d-platformer that's over 15 mil. Hardly forgotten about, huh?

Little Big Planet is one of those few PS3 games that have turned out to have some legs. It's really what the PS3 needs.

Not a flop, not really a hit...
More like a game that was placed under ridiculous pressure to be far bigger and appeal to a broader audience than was ever possible.
"LBP is gonna be huge" advocates hang your heads in shame. You nobbled the game before it even had a chance.
Oh the whole Koran verses thing was a bullet to the foot as well.

Good accomplishment. It seems as though Others is showing good legs, less in Americas et Japan is already at low levels (5k I think). All in all, I think 1.5 million year end is a good estimate but Darth isn't out of the woods just yet with his bet, it could be close...

Glad a good game is hitting the million mark, this'll probably mean I'm getting a copy soon (if only 1% of that 1 million user base make good levels, that'll be more than enough to last me until I get sick of the game).
