Why not? If people buy it and like it, where's the harm? People like Ubisoft's DS titles, as sales show, so where's the harm?

As long as they don't turn off people by releasing unadulterated crap (as it seemed like they would at Ubidays), I say let 'em do what they want, and let the market decide.

A few is ok, I think I counted like 10 imagine titles at TRU on sunday... kinda overboard.

There are about that many Mario titles floating about too...

Like I said, if folks keep buying them, let developers keep making them.

Mind you, I'll be staying far, far away.

I'm not touching this game with a ten foot pole, Dewy's Adventure is as cutesy as I can take it, but I'm happy to see girl's games are starting to be treated with more respect. Girls deserve quality too. If my daughter was younger, I'd get this for her.

IGN's journalistic integrity? Meh. Gave up on that after Wii Music. I see they brought in a freelancer for this one.

I find it more interesting that party games are getting the care and attention that their millions of units worth of sales demand.

Has Ubi released that Dogz game yet? The one with the first screen shots that looked like an N64 game, but later videos had fur effects which arched an eyebrow or two.

man i loooooove party babies.

Whats more disturbing is that girls who buy this shit will want to have babies.

And then possibly race them in challenges

And then expect child support

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

part of me wants to cry for the good score, the other part is happy that the reviewer didn't review as if he was playing Halo....a first for IGN I believe

I'm...I'm speechless.

I guess the only thing I can say is a huge good job to the developers. They could have just made the game shovelware like it was planned to be to but they actually put effort into the game and apply themselves.

Here's hoping their next projects turn out well too so they can start working on real games that people don't immediately consider bad.
