Forums - Microsoft - Star OceanL TLH needs 3 DVDs

People, who talk about FF7, FF8, FF9.

COME ON, THAT WAS LIKE 10 YEARS AGO.
Is this best your excuse for a pastgen drive???

Anyway, on topic, who cares? To play game normally, i`m 80% sure you still will have to INSTALL discs on x360, just like with The Last Remnant.
Infinite Undiscovery also says hi.

Overall, it`s GOOD, that the game is on 3 dvds. That means, that the game wasn`t much cutted and the game has chances to be a good one(better then IU or TLR). Looking forward to PS3 port. :)
Yes, the engine of SO4 is multiplatform.

Speak for yourself, an install at the beginning of the game and thats it. The worst thing is people start bringing up PS1 JRPG having multiple dics, some serious living in the past right there. PS2 had 1 disc for most JRPG, if anything the 360 has gone completely backwards. Every day blu-ray just looks a better and better investment in the PS3.

I dunno man. I don't think it would keep anyone from buying the game, and I don't think anyone would really be bothered. I have a feeling that you're just biased for the PS3, and in reality, you probably don't care about disc changes either. You would play WKC or some other PS3 exclusive no matter how long the install or number of discs. You're just creating faux outrage here in an attempt to make the PS3 Blu-Ray look good and the 360 look bad, when it really isn't that big of a deal at all.

That's just my opinion, anyway.

Not too sure man, I get the feeling that you are bias for the 360 and are trying to make multiple discs not look like an issue. Multiple discs has always been an issue for me, it simply feels to me I have a broken game and hate it. Of course people are not going to not buy a game due to mutiple discs but in an ideal world the game being on one disc would be the best option. Funnily enough the PS3 provides this dieal world, call me PS3 bias due to that fact but meh, no changing reality.

lol, passive-agressive much? I mean, who are you kidding here, really? Can we just stop this game and say what we really mean?

Here's what I mean:

You only have a problem(worth mentioning) about this because disc changing has been a Sony talking point against the 360, though an admittedly weak one, and you are taking this opportunity to lend more credibility to that argument. The actual mechanics of having to change a disc 3 times during a 30+ hour game are meaningless. They don't detract from the game, and it's barely worth mentioning. In reality were a PS3 game on 2 discs you would be bragging about how big the game must be, and how it would be impossible to have that game on the 360, ect.

In our little internet back and forth with strangers game we have going here, in theory you have an argument. In real life, you would be ashamed to bring that crap up in a room full of gamers.

Now, kick it back in with the propoganda. Say what you feel.

Is this a surprise anymore? Lost Odyssey was four discs already. This is the norm.

Don't worry, Lost Odyssey was 4 because it had like 7 or more completely different dialogue languages on the disc. They couldn't have probably fit it all in 1 disc if they woulda just stuck with "language of the region only."

From the last 7-8 years of me hating them? I said in an ideal situation I would like the game on a disc, never said I would not play a game due to having multiple discs. Just to confirm this I like an install and the game on one disc by far compared to multiple discs however if there is no choice then no problem, just going to play the multiple disc version.

For now.......

Seriously anyone who thinks this game or Versus are going to stay exclusive deserve a slap across the face.
