In Japan, it will sell huge. It's a Final Fantasy game on a handheld.

In America, not as well, but still respectably. In Europe, pretty badly.

Within a year:

Japan: 1 million
America: 1 million
Europe: 500k

Worldwide: 2.5 million.

Eh, it will struggle to reach 1.5 million. This is a fighting game, not an RPG. We need to remeber that. I think 500-600k max in Japan.

The west will make or break this game.

Fighting game or not, it has the protagonist and antagonist of:

FFVII (The money cow strikes back)
FFVIII (best selling FF title in Japan and top 3 worldwide)
FFVI, IX and X (every one of them got close to the top 2 in Japan, and X is 2nd worldwide)
I, II, III and IV (Old FF fans like me say hello)

If the game is good, if that is not enough to draw at least 1 million LTD i don't know what is enough...

Do you even com ehere to look at sales charts? CC only sold 800k LT in Japan and it did less then 500k first week...

But anyways, this is pretty much a hit or miss title... it could either strugle to pass the million or it could even pass the 3...

Keep in mind this is not an RPG or an established series, if it comes anywhere near to Crisis Core numbers in Japan, it will be a great success.

Anything more than 350k first week, and 600k LTD and I'd consider it a winner.  <------- in Japan

I think it will do great, definitly 1M, maybe 1,5!
