How many ban amounts are there? I've seen:

-$20

-$60

-$100

-$200

-$600

-$1000

-$2000

-$3000

And how long does each one keep you banned for?

Just curious.

$20 per day. 2k is a perma ban and 3k doesn't exist anymore.

Also, I think you are missing a few options, but I don't get to ban people so I don't really know.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

$20 - 1 Day
$60 - 3 Days
$100 - 5 Days
$140 - 7 Days
$200 - 10 Days
$280 - 14 Days
$400 - 20 Days
$600 - 30 Days
$900 - 45 Days
$1200 - 60 Days
$1800 - 90 Days
$2000 - Forever+

Many infractions you will recieve a warning before any ban, but there are a few where moderators have been specifically granted discretion to bypass a warning in favor of a ban where warranted.  Most often it is applied when one member directly insults another member.

If it's anything like pretty much any other forum on the internet, the mods have their own forum where they keep tabs on what's going down. Sometimes they will consult each other before bringing down the hammer.

there is a forum where they can discuss things. however, talonman built this wonderful warning/banning system into the website. If you get a formal warning, then it shows up in your moderation history. All bans show up in your moderation history.

Only a moderator can see a warning/ban and the person who received it. The same capability is built into the game database and the prediction league, however, I can only see game db and prediction league warnings/ban, and regular moderators can only see forum warnings/bans

I got a $2000 fine and recently got my account freed up.  Must be because of the holidays.
