Ok so i just got a new TV. Its Hd.

I am looking into getting a Bd player.

I want to know it the Ps3 is a good choice.

can some one let me in on the features?

United States does have a movie store on the PSN.

The ps3 is updated through firmware so the blu-ray functions the Ps3 has right now are close to what blu-ray players are being sold with. And will continue getting updated if need be.

is it downloaded directly to your hard drive?
i am guessing they are in high def?
what kind of movies do they have up there right now?
how often do they update the store with new movies?
what are the prices?
and about how long does it take to download them?

And yes, the PS3 is an excellent console and entertainment system, go for it. Look at the stickied "PS3 Best Games Guide" for game recommendations in each genre.

PS3 is the best Blu-Ray player as it's always the first to get the latest updates. #1 reason i bought one

PS3's pretty much the best option around, especially since it's firmware upgradable wifi/wired. And you have access to the PSN movie store.

captDS9E-well i figured it would be and that what i have been hearing but some sales people told be that they tend to break easily??
i haven't looked into it but i do remember when i got my ps3 like 6 years ago and how the dvd broke on me 4 time..
