Whats that about?

People, get real. You honestly think Ratchet and Clank, Heav Sword and Uncharted are going to stand against Galaxy and Brawl/Halo 3 and Mass Effect? You`ve got to be kidding me. I`m not counting Lair, Folklore and those because honestly, they are confirmed to be average or decent, no system sellers. Honestly, Brawl will easily outsell all of them combined. Same Halo 3.

360 still has the advantage over the PS3, Halo 3 is still coming on September, Mass Effect too, and any multiplat game has the edge on 360.
Sony`s next year should be it`s most important, $300-400 with all their big games. 2007 is lost for them.

Civ:Rev is coming to the Wii but not in the same Q as the 360,PC and PS3 get it look on Wikipedia.

Forget about mario galaxy and smash bros, Mario & sonic is likely going to easily outsell everything in the ps3.

 That is about I don't belive in miracles. I honestly don't think PS3 can afford to lose this christams period with to much against Wii. Beacuse when Januari hits I am pretty sure that we are looking at a 17-19 millions of sold Wiis and less than 8 for PS3. The gap will be to wide to conter. They need either to get Killzone 2 or UT3 out for this christams to have something.

1/ Something like 50% of all sales for the year is done over the Xmas period. Moving lots of high profile titles away from Xmas is a excellent recipe for disaster.

2/ You can't count anything without a confirmed release date. I'm pretty certain Killzone will be released Xmas '08 (or later half of the year). Does LBP have a release date? Wasn't it coming out this year?

3/ Nintendo will have lots of surprised up their sleeves. Throw in WiiFit & WiiMotorSports (confirmed '08) and that doesn't look so unbalanced anymore.

GT Prologue will be out (maybe even for Xmas) - but who knows when the full GT will arrive (or when the PSP one will either?).

(BTW - exclusive games highlighted. Civ is coming to all platforms, and I wouldn't be surprised if we see Unleashed hit the Wii as well - or some variant).

Halo3 is an Xbox targeted game, most of the people wanting Halo3 are Xbox360 owners ...

Nothing on PS3 side ???
I see 2 games perfectly targeted for the console market :

- heavenly sword : aventure/action/beat them all game.
Can it does what DMC has did on the PS2 ?????????????????????????????

- Ratchet : "pixar" game, it will sell a lot just because of the visual.

- GT5 prologue (in japan at least) : car modelisation alone will sell the game.

OVERALL, it is a good news for the Wii.
but remember she still lake Assassin Creed/Call of duty 4 or PES2008 ...
but, whatever, WiiSport is THE system seller (...)
Even with no games released, the Wii will sell better than the PS3/Xbox360 this Xmas ...

I just did a quick search and the only article I see for UT3 is from back in May. There must be somethingwrong with their database because it didn't even pull up the E3 stuff in July. I'll do another search later, so until then I'll leave those games in the Holiday launch period.
