The ps3 is basically just giving the wii 50% of the market.
anyone thinks that sony will have money for the ps4's is R&D with the ps3 not making real profit? i mean it will never make back is R&D and production cost. The ps3 erased the ps2 LTD profits so i wonder if they will have any money to develop the PS4, if there is a PS4?

In my opinion, I don't think the Arcade SKU is solely to blame for declining PS3 sales. It's also that it seems more and more titles are being released as Multiplatform games and since $400 can get to a 120 GB 360 or a 80GB PS3, which are people going to get?

It depends... Sony will have money for some things but not for others. They'll have to choose... Should they keep their phone and music business or not? Should they have so many TV models or not? Should they be in the gaming market or not?
Hard decisions are coming, but I won't pretend to know the outcome.

1. You mean like exactly as it is now? PS3 sales being destroyed because of their expensive price.
2. I'm tired of people saying this. If the 360 really did cost that much, it would have to be justified. Meaning the 360 would have many more features and additives, thus STILL making it more appealing than the PS3. Sheesh, do people ever think things all the way through, or do they just take one fanboy's words for granted and start spouting it elsewhere?
