VGChartz undertracks alot, if not most of the games, especially after they've been out for awhile. That's why it says "Software figures are largely incomplete".
For example, Warhawk has been disputed many times, the servers show close to 800,000 players why VGChartz only shows 450,000 sales (partly because they do not or can not track PSN sales). At any rate, do the sales of the game really matter?

actually criterion announced on their boards that the PS3 version has out sold the360 version and it has passed i million units sold world wide.this was before they made the game available on PSN.
yup yup yup but y hasnt vgchartz fixed the #s
No idea why, but it must be hard tracking the data with such a small amount of staff and resources. But highlighting such issues should hopefully get them resolved.

Either they are lazy or biased. There have been several games where users have shown quite compelling evidence that VGChartz is undertracking a game by a large margin, but they refuse to change their numbers.

The number guys can't simply look at online leaderboards and adjust sales accordingly. It doesn't work that way. Burnout Paradise has been on sale since February, which has given it plenty of time to acquire plenty of other means of attaining it outside of the "sealed in plastic" scenario that we count here.
1. It's available over PSN. We can't track that. Call up Sony and bitch to them about it, so we can get that data. I'm sure the staff would be mightily grateful to utilize it if it were available to them.
2. Used game sales don't count, so every Gamestop, FYE, e-Bay, Craigslist, etc. sale isn't going to matter since it's not a new copy. How many of those do you think are in circulation? Probably quite a bit.
3. Rentals don't count either. I'm sure that between Blockbuster and Gamefly, a decent amount of copies have been rented, and then sold used, to consumers.
All of these will pop up on leaderboards and yet none should or can be counted.
Well its actually interesting... tough I agree with Onyx in the same time its interesting how much support the game is getting via DLC ( major support ) tough it sold considerably less then Ao2 for example... I know that this is partially the developers decision to, just that I dont know if it worths it financially ;)
