Well it is uo to you if u prefer installation for 20 minutes and the lost of 5GB HDD-space or switching discs 3 times for 45seconds, without losing space on the HDD.
That is odd, BluRay offers so much space, but developers are just not able to use this as advantage. So the PS3 won't have an advantage due to BluRay. Like in every other multi-plat game before. Blue Dragon comes on 6discs i guess, Infinite Undiscovery on two, Lost Odyssey on four.
the greatest game ever, shenmue I/II, came on 7 discs and it did not affect gameplay in any way.

Developers are perfectly able to use the advantage. All they need to do is focus on the PS3 hardware, and it looks amazing.
Why do you think it is that no multiplat on PS3 looks as good as MGS4, Uncharted or KZ2? (Your opinion of course) Not really, can you name one multiplat that looks better than any of those?
One of which has a compulsory install. Actually, it has six. But it's still awesome.
One of which has an optional install
One of which does not have an install at ALL.
In fact, I know of three games with a 5GB install.
-MGS4. Look at the character models and resolution. And the fast, few and far between loading times.(and the 15 gig install every 5 minutes) It's not 15gb, it's 5gb, and the act installs are 2 mins long.
-BioShock. Multiplat. I honestly don't know why it's so big. (now its bad since it floped on the PS3?) It flopped on PS3 because they were selling a 14 month old game which was half price on Steam for full price, not because of the install size. And for the record, it's one of my favourite games of all time.
-Oblivion. Multiplat. Well, look at Cyrodiil. I can see why it takes so much space. Also, it was very early in the console's lifespan, it was Bethesda's first project for the PS3, and I say they did pretty damned well.
