Someone glancing at this site will likely be impressed by the amount of numbers, but easily convinced they are skewed when they see someone called "Wii gamer" is an admin. A sales research site can't afford to even present the illusion of allegiance to a console or a company.

So...a person running a videogame charts forum can't enjoy the Wii and display it? Please...you guys need to lighten up. His name doesn't dictate his actions as an admin, and it certainly does not say anything about this site's credibility. You can see his name is Wii_gamer and suspect that this site's numbers lean towards the Wii, but check the numbers out and tell us when we're wrong...this site's credibility comes from its reliable sales info, whether or not an admin plays the Wii doesn't matter.

Well, I'm not going to argue with all of you. Understand, that although this site is quickly growing and being more and more cited around the internet, it also has a reputation of being a Nintendo-biased site. Someone who has already heard rumor of that, and sees his name, is unlikely to go do the research to find out how accurate the numbers here are... And a person shouldn't have to go out and research the numbers to know they can trust them. Regardless of the fact that this site is reliable and unbiased, it should go out of its way to appear that way as well. Please lock.

I understand what you mean...but I think we should try to be above that...Wii Gamer isn't the first person people usually see anyway... This site probably gets its reputation because, in my opinion, there are a lot of Wii fans in the forums. I don't really know how to "fix" that...the Wii's becoming a very popular console, collecting an increasing fan-base all the time.

I don't get it, that's just silly. This site is based on facts (numbers) more than anything else. NPD comes in every month, Media Create comes in every week. Anybody can check and compare to vgcharts. If people still prefer to say that this site has a bias they clearly don't care for facts. You should not go out of your way for those people.

as far as I'm aware PS4 is NOT an admin. However at MANY website forums. Sony, Microsoft, and others I have seen this site listed as 'Wii biased the creator is named 'Wii_gamer' How credible is that?' So yes I agree.
