Very good move THQ, your game would be lost in a midst of shovelware this holiday season. It's better for quality titles to get delayed a bit, so they don't suffer from the shovelware flood syndrome.

Little Kings Story also got delayed to next year for that very same reason. Mushroom Men as well, got delayed to mid December. If you look at the upcoming releases you will see there's 95% of shovelware geting released in huge numbers. Quality titles will have much competition and will underperform.

frankly I think gamestop never updated their date as it was listed as February2009 back before Ign announced that the game was finished and the current 2008 release date
THq's website is as helpful as getting hit in the head with a brick as far as determining release date is concerned

We found out at E3 that this was delayed to 2009, no big deal here...

and right before halloween Ign annonced that it was coming out in December

Q1 2009 the new holiday season for the Wii?

A two-month delay is hardly a sign that a company is waiting for a console's userbase to grow.  It's a sign that they want to polish the title.  And if there's one console that doesn't need a "wait for the userbase to grow" attitude, it's the Wii.

 Hell id say so. Q1 has more quality games for Wii than this Holiday season. Id make a list, but im pretty sure most pople already know it.

Q1 2009 FTW! Though we knew there are more surprises on the rest of the year of 2009.
