Both. It has the same name on the boxart = it's the same game. |
That's silly. There legitimately two versions of the game. It's out of the race.

1. There was only 1 version in the first 9 months. The "Hot Coffee" code was on the DVD, but it wasn't playable without a mod. There is no difference when you buy any of those 2 versions and put it in a PS2.
= Unofficial
2. It has sold 6.2 million units in NA until the ESRB changed the rating. That's still very much.
2. Many shooters are cut here in Germany. It's still the same game.
The ESRB rated the two games differently. It's a matter of semantics, but those are still two different versions. You can't even buy one of them any more.
ok, so the new top 10 non-multiversion, non-bundled (with proper exceptions) million sellers list looks like this

It was bundled for a little while in the US.

Aha ok.
But I also think that Super Mario Land was also bundled with the gameboy.
Edit:Also didn't ioi say that GT3:A-spec was bundled?
Didnt want to start fights fellas =)
Arguing over GTA: SA is kinda silly.
I think it stands as one SKU. The Ratings werent a biz decision. They were forced upon Rockstar. The game actually takes things out, so no one would consider it a special edition by any means.
HOWEVER!!!
Didnt they release one with a DVD... now that may screw up the argument
Nintendogs is much harder for me to accept as "1" game.
As for SMB3, I am almost 99% certain it was a pack-in with the remodeled NES.
Super Mario Land (Regardless of what I've seen) may be the champ unless someone can guarantee it was in a bundle.
Predictions For Last Full Week of Sales in 2010)
WII - 80.35 Million
360 - 43.88 Million
PS3 - 41.40 Million
More terrible predictions coming Jan. 2011!!!
I just read at wikipedia that Super Mario Land later had a "Players choice" release, does that still let it count?

If we get into that we may have to scrap the entire list.
