There is certainly two versions of megaman, as the last game before, so it must be normal, because, here at mc, you only see the black version, and for famitsu, the two versions are together.
One thing I just noticed: Resistance 2 only had a 60% sellthrough rate. I'm suprised that retailers ordered 55,000+ copies.

Not that surprising, the first one sold over 130k (Famitsu). It had the benefit of being a launch title though, and the best one at that. CoD4 sold over 110k on PS3, so 55k isn't that large an amount for a AAA PS3 FPS. R2 actually had a bigger opening week than both those games, but I don't expect it will go on to sell as much LTD.

The DS Lite is pretty much being discontinued in favor of the DSi. I haven't seen a new DS Lite for sale in my area in a few weeks! Though one store was selling imported DS Lites(from the USA), hehe. All DS games should work fine in the DSi. The DSi specific software(e.g. downloaded stuff) might be region specific though. DS games are still region-free.

I hope they're not, I wish to be able to play GBA games in the future. My DS Lite is nearly broke so need to get one fast before it releases. Am planning to get the US DSi as downloads are region locked and I'm definitely sure Europe won't see all of them.

whats more reliable mediacrete or famitsu? i always went with famitsu since it gets its own news articles on the front page.
LOL -
The answer is 'neither'. Some (such as myself) swear by Media Create as being more accurate, but others profess Famitsu is.
As far as I know, MediaCreate is slightly better at tracking both Hardware and Software sales, as I've seen Famitsu change their numbers to MC-esque numbers more often than the other way around.
However, Famitsu offers more complete tracking data for free. Garaph.info has made a great Japanese sales-tracking website that's based entirely off of Famitsu data that is pretty beefy.
So it really depends on what your looking for - MC for accuracy, Famitsu for availability.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
They track different sets of stores too which is usually the explination for why their results can vary 20-40% in a given week, although sometimes it is because they different policies on hardware and software bundling.
People are difficult to govern because they have too much knowledge.

I don't think it is fair to expect Wii-kart or wii-play level of legs from this game. What is the height of the typical "leggy" game for a PS3? (I'm guessing we should look at uncharted for that or something?) It should rival that kind of game (comparing it to a console that easily outsells it, would be unfair). |
the highest ps3 has had is first week x 3 (besides launch and games with really low shipments).
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X
