Wow, DS Lite is dropping massively. Can you play DS games on the DSi then?

The DS Lite is pretty much being discontinued in favor of the DSi. I haven't seen a new DS Lite for sale in my area in a few weeks! Though one store was selling imported DS Lites(from the USA), hehe.

All DS games should work fine in the DSi. The DSi specific software(e.g. downloaded stuff) might be region specific though. DS games are still region-free.

 

I hope they're not, I wish to be able to play GBA games in the future. My DS Lite is nearly broke so need to get one fast before it releases. Am planning to get the US DSi as downloads are region locked and I'm definitely sure Europe won't see all of them.
