You are entitled to you OP. I personally love the game, and with a great group of online friends, on high difficulty, this game is freaking intense and a blast. Valve is going to add tons of additional content, plus the fact that the game changes each time you play adds a lot in replay value. Give it some more time......you may change your mind.

That's because flaming those games is like flaming the face of God for being too bright.
Flaming great underground titles....it's kinda like you know the guy flaming the game probably didn't see the greatness that was actually there. He just kinda gave it a halfass look and said "meh." Some games don't necessarily shine immediately. You have to dust off their covers and actually read them.

I have to agree. This game is... mediocre at best (I only played the demo though), and coming from Valve, its kinda... well, crappy. I expected something much more involved and well designed.
Reading the review, I didn't understand why they gave it a 9.0... The reviewer liked the MP coop part, but other than that he seemed less than enthused... he curiously downplayed all but the coop.
Go play your PS3. L4D is amazing and GOTY material for me.
GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Get over it,the game rocks i will be buying it.
after ign gave GTA4 a 10 out of 10 i stop listing to their reviews. there isn't nothing special about L4D. its just another zombie game, except they respawn at different places everytime you play it. your not the only one, i tried it and didn't like it, good thing i didn't waste my $ on it
