So, after October NA weekly sales 50k for PS3 vs 90k for x360, you say, that x360 will continue outsell PS3?

1. Europe + Japan > NA
In those 2 regions PS3 is doing better then x360(MOST of the time).
2. What releases x360 has in those 1Q and Q2 ?
x360: Halo wars(WW), SO4. What else?
PS3: WKC, KZ2, Yakuza 3(JP), FFXIII demo(JP).

Have you learned nothing about 07 to 08.
Microsoft never show its hand early. 09 year should be the same.

(or give me a reason why you think there not making anymore games for the system that sells the most software)

Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

Software last 12 months:

X360: 101.1M

Ps3: 68.2M

 

Last 6 months:

X360:  42.8M

Ps3 - 32.4M

 

Last 3 months:

X360 -  25.5M

Ps3 - 17.5M

 

So even relative to the userbase, 360 sells more software.

Microsoft focus on holiday games first and foremost. This isn't Sony and we know 75% of there hand 2 years yearly. You never know I could be wrong though. I'm just going on what this year was like.

Gears 2 and Fable 2 VS Resistance 2, LBP, Valkyria Chronicles, SOCOM, Naruto: UNS, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift.

Most people don`t have money to buy 5-7 games in 1 week, neither in 2.
While, 1-2 games in 1-2 weeks not that much.
x360 just don`t have much exclusive games.
Not, to mention, that x360 fans buy even Halo 3 by 7-8 mln. like zombies.
