all sony has to do is cut the price to $300 and its all over. its as simple as that, because the only reason 360 regained its lead in WW weekly sales was because of the price cut. but yet again, it doesnt matter because they are both going to lose to nintendo.

So you dont think a AAA RPG from LEVEL 5 on the ps3, wont move consoles in Japan?

You also think sony is going to sit there, as microsoft slowly takes them out of the console race?

Q2 -- FF7/FF13 demo bundle in Japan + probably Price cut

I thought you were doing that. Fanboys think their statements are irrefutable. Sony fans tend to think that if the PS3 gets a price drop in March of '09 then without question the 360 will die right there.

first of all im not a fanboy. second of all, can you please tell me the obvious reason why 360 started to win in weekly sales  these past few months, after constantly losing to ps3?

This argument pops up every time the 360 does something massive: Halo 3 release, price cut, Gears 2 release... they've played all their cards and have nothing left. 

It didn't happen then, and it won't happen now.  If the PS3 ever does pass the 360 it will be slowly, and years form now.

I was going to say no, but the "bad economy + much lower price" point is a cogent one, so I'll go with ...

many peopl have already posted those christmas numbers from xmas 2007 (I'm guessing the 2008 is a typo?) and Sony sold more then, so 360 did not win xmas 2007.

 

Yes, it was a typo. No I was insinuating sales for America, not worldwide. so 360 sales were > PS3 sales in my post

maybe for Q1 and not by much.

depends on the impact of FF7AC bundle in japan and gran turismo 5 launching in 2009

also killzone 2.
