''Best Soundtrack''

Wiithout Lost Odysessy, dont really care about this hype thing. Scandal! LO OST should easy be the best soundtrack of the year. Ueamtsu did it again.

Heavy biased in favor of HD games. Don't care now, I'll wait for IGN's GOTY.

Im quite sure despite MGS4 being one of the best games this generation, they wont give it GOTY, nor best graphics, but give it to a game that caters to there audience, that audience? 360 fans.

I know you picked Cod WaW as the best multiplayer experience, but tis actually behind Cod4, and significantly behind R2 multiplayer wise, but they will give it to COD, because of the wider audience appeal.

 MGS4 doesn't look better than Gears 2. I played both on 58 inch 1080p plasma and they look pretty equal. However considering that Gears has split screen mode and has 3 times as many enemies on screen at one time as MGS4, I'd see Gears 2 winning over MGS4 even if these Spike TV awards were legit.

So they didn't count SMG last year, and not this year either. Hmm wonder what is the excuse for that.

I had no idea Stephen Fry had lent his voice to LBP.

IMO, these "awards" have no cred, but if I recall, Gears 1 swept them the year it was released, so it's gonna be a GTAIV, Gears 2 year, simply because it'll be mostly Americans voting, and people love Gears 2 and GTAIV. Especially people who don't visit internet message forums.

PS: Aren't these the "voted for" things. Yeah, if they are, it's gonna be a lot of GTAIV and Gears 2.

I am also shocked that a TV studio that caters to the 15-30 male testpterone driven demographic did not have a Wii game in the game of the year category. Absolutely shocked I say! Would you believe surprsised? Would you believe startled? Would you believe slightly unexpected? Will anyone get the reference to a TV show from 3 decades ago?

Crysis Warhead looks better than all those games.
