Hus you should of included the normal xbox version it is outselling the wii one. Atleast we know where EA is putting their money next year. No wii madden, along with no hockey or basketball games, the wii is looking pretty bad right now.

 Although I would say you are probably 90% likely to be right...  we only have 3 weeks of tracking.  I would want to see what the numbers look like after the holiday season to conceed completely...  Assuming the wii continues to sell more systems, it has the potential for higher attach rates the further from launch week.  

 I don't think so. It will pass the Xbox but I don't know about the PS3. I also don't know if the PS2 will pass the 360 version in the long run either.

Everyone expected the ps3 version to sell the worst? Well that seems fanboyish.

PS2 will probably catch up to the 360 version eventually. Um Wii version I really don't know. Some titles on Wii sale really weird. So I'll need a few more weeks of data to see. But I'm pretty sure PS3 will outsell the Wii version.

Overall though Madden 08 sales have been pretty dissappointing as it is. Down from Madden 07 sales from last year.

@jlauro I highly doubt it, for that to happen ps3 sales would have to stagnate, i think its more madden just is not the type of game people want to play on the wii.

I would expect lots of sales next year for the PS3 one, from the sounds of things it will be 60FPS.

I think everyone anticipated the game to sell proportionately to the system's American userbases which worked out reasonably well for all systems except for the Wii ... The low sales for the Wii version were a surprise but at the same time not too surprising.

For a person who has bought Madden every year since it first came out for the Genesis or SNES familiarity is probably a big motivation for buying Madden. The one thing you can say about the Wii version of madden is that it is not a familiar experience to existing Madden gamers and as such probably prevents them from choosing that version.

@RolSt, I did not know that so no killing a system with no support like the poor poor dreamcast (if only it had dvd and ea support back in the day).

well i still want a true 2k return, all pro was enjoyable, but it needs to be fixed up, i want franchise returned, and why not let us put as many gold pros as we want on teams when playing each other in quick matches.

also please fix the edge of screen problem for quick match

I say wait for it to release in the rest of the world. Madden Wii may still outsell PS3. Either way though, it is rather disappointing. But, I don't think it is the control concept that is the problem, it is the fact that Madden Wii is simply a PS2 port. I have not seen any reason why it couldn't have been a port of the 360 version. Just bad on EA for being so cheap in how they do their multi-platform games.
