Assumptions are terrible things to make, especially when it consists of leaving the cosiest job in the gaming industry. Both of them are rolling in $$$ and Nomura still kept Versus PS3 only so Wada does care for them.

 

 What is so golden about SE lately? They are doing so bad that their best games recently are remakes and ports of older titles.

These guys would be much better suited with their own company. That way nobody tells them what to do with their games.

If the SaGa Team ever leaves (I wonder if I am the only one who cares about these guys...) SE would then be dead to me. Those guys are the BEST!

 

Joke post? Come back to me when FFXIII, Versus and Agito release and each sell 5m at least, then you will see why SE are anything but bad.

Does anyone here honestly believe Nomura or Kitase would leave SE due to a game going on 360? They are fanboys but not retarded, the pay cheques of these guys must be what even the Level 5 president could only dream of.

Sakaguchi is what is known as a has been, Nomura and Kitase know what the audience what these days unlike Sakaguchi, see LO and Blue Dragon sales for more information

Fans of the games care less about the sales.

I could give 2 shits about how FFXII sales went, I think the game sucked hard.

I prefer Lost Odyssey over it anyday. An RPG does not need the name Final Fantasy and sell 5million copies for me to enjoy it.

SE has much bigger franchises and with 2 developers leaving they wouldn't have time to milk all of them

 Nobody knows what they are thinking. Some would prefer a little more freedom over a bigger check. For all we know they may want to do what Sakaguchi did.

Working in a big company like SE didn't stop Uematsu from leaving did it? Uematsu was just as important (In my opinion anyways) as anyone else when it came to Final Fantasy.
