Of course Wii can not be caught but this is a 360 and PS3 comparison, year head start and 360 only has a 5M lead over PS3. As I have mentioned in my first post.... 360 sales had about a 5.5M lead over the PS3 on PS3's launch, now that gap is 5.8 million.

^That may be so but the longer the gap is maintained the more drastically the PS3 will have to outsell the Xbox when the price drop comes. Already you are looking at 100 000 units per week, every week for a year which would be no mean feat. Judging by current sales i think it's hard for people to imagine such a drastic turnaround.

Still nothing special, PS3 willl outsell 360 easily. Does not matter when it happens but it will happen.

It might happen late 2010 but when it happens it wont really matter since both MS and Sony will be launching their next system soon after, most of this gen Sony will be behind.

I just checked the charts and from January 5 2008 to November 1 the PS3 sold 7.6 million and the in the same time frame the X360 sold 6.4 million so I'd say the PS3 will difenitely surpass the X360 in sales, it's only a matter of time and exclusives
