CoD5 Wii around 100 - 150k first week.

Don't know about the other versions..

360-700,000 first week
Ps3-300,000 first week
Wii-80,000 first week

Its too close to Gears 2 and Resistance 2 which will hurt sales greatly. Plus i think most people are smart enough to know its back to WWII and treyarch making it so they will avoid it.

First Week:

360 - 450,000

Wii - 125,000

PS3 - 1,750,000

i read on other thread there is line at gamestop, people buying COD WAW 360 version >100, PS3 < 10, and my prediction is : this will be 100% accurate:

There so many better games for PS3 and X360 this time, this game will get lost...(Its like number 10 on my list)

It might do better on the Wii

I have all 3 consoles but will go with the Wii on this one (except if bad reviews). I want a decent FPS on the Wii!

However, I do feel I would be one of the few to go the Wii route, comparatively speaking with the 2 HD consoles.

I agree with Zucas on the idea that with COD:WAW's release on the Wii at this time, a shooter fanbase can be established on the Wii that hasn't been seen yet. There have been over maybe 40 shooting games released on the PS360 this year, while the Wii has had a few, but NONE that are notable.

So with an empty genre ripe for the taking, Call of Duty can have some big sales this holiday. Then in March, when The Conduit releases, there will be an aware userbase of shooter "fans" on the Wii ready for another purchase. This will probably ensure 1 million copies sold for The Conduit.
