Meeh, Valve has stated this many times that they don't like the PS3 if there is a port of L4D EA will do it not Valve

Which brings me to my point.

If you want to play L4D and only have a PS3, do NOT wait for a port and just get a PC or 360. Heck, I'm getting it for the PC.

They don't hate PS3, they don't like the complexity of the hardware though. Valve likes working on the 360 because it's easier to develop for. That's not a bad thing. Developers just need to become familiar with the PS3 hardware imo.

its not up2 valve, recently valve said EA are inteested in doing a ps3 version.

if L4D proves a hit then ps3 version will surely be on its way but it wont be handled by valve

Haven't we learned anything from Bioshock PS3? If a port is released it will take forever and it won't sell as much.

If it's not up to Valve then who makes the final call? 

Since it's their property, if they say no port then that's it, no matter how much EA may want to do one.
