I would shade the area where they are all fighting with diaginal lines to indicate theres oil in them hills.

Nice battle map. Next time you need some arrows to show the direction of the push and maybe show some major battles or something.

The point wasn't the map! I used the map as evidence for the analysis.

I know but it is a nice visual aid for the analysis and it would be cool if it was spiced up a little.

This was a funny idea. The only thing I'd add would be a remark about how both of "the enemies" are using the same weapons against each other, contributing greatly to the stalemate on that front. And perhaps a line about how untrustworthy the Activision Mercenaries are, as they're simultaneously fighting for all three sides.

Apart from that, good work. I look forward to next week, when the first wave of Gears 2 tanks reach the battlefield.

Edit: Sorry if I'm stepping on any toes, but if you DO do a thread like this next week, why not make it from the perspective of one of the other two? It'd be interesting to read a (false) report from their side of the field as well. Just an idea.

All this thread has shown me is how poor the Wii's release schedule is considering the time of year.

I'm seeing one huge AAA game after another being released for HD consoles (Fable 2, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, Resistance 2, Mirror's Edge, Little Big Planet, Tom Clancy's Endwar, Dead Space, Far Cry 2, Left4Dead, Prince of Persia, etc).

What does the Wii have? Wii Music, World of Goo, and...? Oops Animal Crossing. Yeah the core audiences of the 360 and PS3 are really under threat with that release schedule. It's gotten to the point where I go to the Nintendo forum and see people rallying around The Conduit at the Wii's answer to HD FPS games. Yeah I'm sure the people playing Halo 3, Resistance 2, etc, are all going to be in awe of that technical and design masterpiece.

Also about the bashing by some Nintendo fanboys of franchise games, do you realize how ridiculous you look? Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Nintendogs, do these names mean nothing to you? Hell Nintendo is milking Pokemon so much that it must be making EA and Activision take notes.

Enjoy your "winning". As for me, I'm going to get back to my work and hope I get enough time to play all the incredible games that have been coming and are still to be released for this holiday season. If only I just owned a Wii instead, my time management issues would be much more easily solved.
