I think I'd give it to VC personally, Blade, because I like the characters more and I get more attached to them in VC. In Disgaea the storyline was a lot of fun, but all of the non main characters were pretty generic. On the other hand I remember the name of the engineer that died in VC. Nadine, my least whiny engineer.

its a new fresh approach on an rpg.

the actual battle is fully contllable like a 3rd person shooter, its to much to list to be honest and i cant explain it. its a unique game i havent played anything like it, an srpg is like disgea 3

its a stunning game and im glad i have the game, the grafix are there to be beholded they are stunning, the music score is amoungst the best ive heard and its totally playable

im on the bridge level, and i ran out of turns il try again next weekend.

i have to disagree with u zen, valkyria is a better game overall than lost oddessey, although they are different types. regarding tales, i havent played it so i cnt comment.

I agree. Valkyria Chronicles is the best SRPG this generation. Don't know about best RPG this gen, since there are a few that I haven't played.

I have both Disgaea 3 and Valkyria. I only played up to the third chapter of Disgaea and stop. As for Valkyria, every chapter keeps on getting better and better. There are many different strategies you can take in battles. I am falling in love with all of my squad members (main and non-main): Herbert, Marina, Alicia, Rosie, Largo, Welkin, etc. The visuals and music are pretty good. The story is starting to get very interesting. This is one of the best PS3 games out there and everything I hoped for in a SRPG.

It actually launched in others this week in others and wasn't tracked in the top 50.

It possibly bombed hard there, but supposedly it was because there was a very limited shipment, and the real shipment comes in this week. That or VGChartz somehow failed to track it.

No it's not, it's a SRPG, it's just dressed up a little. Calling this game "not a srpg" means either you've never played it, or you've never played any other srpgs.

I'll wait to play the game and judge for myself.

Also, one more thing, imo, Fallout 3 is Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy better that Valkyria, and significantly better than Fable 2, also.

That's just to expand on my opinion a little bit, lol.

I know you admit that the PC version is better Impulsivity, but I really think the 360 version is better as well. Much better. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite games ever.

all stategy rpg are grid based turn combat like disgea 3, valkyria isnt like that at all.

i have disgea 3 and valkyria, and both games are different gameplay types
