I think skeezer is wondering (as am I) why you made the thread seeing as there are several from the past and we have a forum search function, is all.

OT though; I prefer Forza 2 over GT5: Prologue.

WEll to my liking, I think I will prefer Gran TUrismo 5, I've never actually played Forza 2, but if the rumors about the Forza 3 being on two dics, I'd rather not try. [I am owner of all 4 previous GT's]

I love the fact that Ferrari will now be present in the game[GT5], but it's still missing a couple of others[Porsche and Lamborghini]

As for graphics, I highly doubt Forza's graphics will be better than those of GT5.

I like the Forza 2 car lists, GT always seems to center on Japanese tuners for some reason [skyline :(]

High levels of tuning aren't neccessary but I guess that is an bonus for Forza.

Gran Turismo is the King of racing games, that is not even a question :)

GT is coming out way later than Forza (apples and oranges comparison) and has a team with twice the experience. It will be better in most categories, including looks. I played GT2, 3 & 4. If they are any indication of what to expect for 5, Forza is a better driver -- you are not unrealistically rewarded for bouncing off walls or other racers...

 i'm completely certain.  i fired-up the old ps2 the other day, so my 5yo could race on his little portable tv while i raced on the big tv.  he usually plays bigN cart racers and isn't good with sims yet.  so, i helped him for a few minutes.  GT4 was a BEAUTIFUL game for its time, but the physics are quite stale.  through a turn i bumped into a wall hard at over 100mph and didn't lost control or performance from it.  instead, i was able to pass a car with this move.  it reminded me of racing split-screen with friends at the height of my GT4 playing.  i would be running a nice clean race in the lead, and someone would come down a hill into a corner without braking, broad-side my car, bounce off it, and gain the lead.  you CAN'T get away with such crappy driving in forza, plain and simple.  you have to REALLY drive to win.
