On another note, I was playing Burnout at my buddies place, and when you take someone out, it takes a picture of you and shows it on the other dudes screen.  Well I got taken out by some fat dude, in his tighty whiteys and nothing else, sitting in a gloomy room with food on his chest.  Claaasssy

If a guy is racist with you...you go racist on his ass. Its part of the online experience. Not being an asshole online from time to time is like not using the the chainsaw in gears of war. Sure, you can kill the guy without using it...but its not half as fun.

 Actually that type of stupid doesn't bother me i expect it. But, it's when shit start getting weird, or you're kicking ass and they won't STFU, lol. Battlefield 2142 was my ish, but I've mainly been getting online with Wii lately cause it's a straight game no drama. =/

I legit heard a drug deal go down when I was in the lobby for a RFoM match. The guy got a phone call but left his mic on/near his head, so we could all hear him go "yeah yeah so what do you want.....no no thats $20....thats all I've got right now....you gotta decide.....do you want it or not.....ok cool come by the back door in an hour"

Thank god the mute feature is so easy to use.

On the flip side I've met some cool people online who I still play with regularly.

On COD4, it isn't. Every second game will have people swearing, bragging about how much they drank last night, laughing, and just generally being complete retards. I can't MUTE THEM and if I mute the TV, I can't hear the gunfire and I die. So, I just put up with it.

Seriously, I don't think I've ever heard anybody contribute anything strategic or helpful on COD4. If you want to chat with your friends, the PS3 has a voice chat function. Please don't continue your conversations into COD4 online. We honestly don't care.

 Yeah I hear ya there. I play lots of Halo and 50% of the time I have to mute some clown from my own team. Or I just shoot him in the foot over and over until he kills me and then I boot him out...
