Yeah, I fully believe one game is going to make people want to spend $400 on a PS3. I could buy a Wii and 3 games (4 total including WiiSports) for the same price. Who has the best deal now? $450+~ (including the purchase of LBP and tax) for a system or $400~+ for another system (3 games plus tax). You be the judge.

And if there is advertisement, why am I only seeing so few commercials (I finally saw at least 3 of them for the past two weeks, but only on Comedy Central, Sci-Fi and MTV), plus no one I know even wants the game who owns a PS3 or wants a PS3 for this game. There is 0 hype where I live for this game, so I don't know why you forum users would say it's everywhere when it's not. I see more Wii commercials, some X360 commercials and little to no PS3 commercials, and that's not on children's networks (yes, I watch Nickelodeon for some shows, Disney Channel and Cartoon Network, but I mainly watch History Channel, Discovery, Sci-Fi, Travel, MTV, VH1, National Geographic and of course Playboy TV). I've actually seen more Wii commercials on Playboy at times than on other networks. They spammed the Raving Rabbids commercials on that channel a lot. I wonder why

There was a thread, some time ago, where the one who created the thread said that LBP will have 10 -and even had a shot of having 20M LTD. Some people in the thread said that 10 was possible, none of them said 20. But there were a few that said 10M was possible. Others went to 5-7 million.

I remember i went into the thread saying that people shouldnt expect that kind of sales....some people just call me a sony hater =) but it's ok, time will tell.

I don't know who said it first, but I saw Dmeister say it and I thought it was funny so I started saying it wherever it was remotely applicable. I think most people just did it for the lulz, but some actually went insane and seemed to think that it would actually do Halo and SMG numbers. Clearly retarded, because Halo is Halo and Mario is an icon, hence sales. It might have legs, but this argument pretty much ends here. This is the reason.
