Yeah, I've also pre-ordered Gears 2 as well. Oh man, if I actually receive Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2 in the same week- the best week of the entire generation.

And what on earth is wrong with SCEE? Not only does Europe have to wait an extra 4 weeks for R 2 but we don't even get the Collector's edition. If Microsoft can get Gears 2 released WW simultaneously, there is absolutely no excuse for Sony not to do the same.

Are you getting LBP next week as well?

Anyway, I think Sony does more dubbing, which is one of the reasons why it is more popular with smaller countries in Europe, and I certainly think that was the reason for Uncharted's late release date (I did import that one though)

No, I may wait until Xmas for LBP if I get it at all. Resistance 2 and Gears 2 are higher priorities, not to mention I bought Far Cry 2, Valkyria Chronicles and Dead Space recently.

So dubbing is the reason Europe always has to wait? That's fair enough I guess. I do have to give Sony kudos for making the consle region-free.

@ Xen- I really, really hope it's possible to play online with the American copy on an European conosle. I'm 95% sure it is.

I think so, I got Burnout Paradise as an import, and I have played that online. There is no region locking on games

so in this thread we are saying people who play fps dont vote... hmm well i guess im the exception and not the rule, also get out and early vote fools, i know its too late but next time do that shit i voted weeks ago. also no this should not effect its launch
