Forums - Nintendo - next High Voltage Software wii game, an RPG?

I think it's good that a developer experiment with new genres. It may lead to something refreshing. Also if the Conduit is any good, High Voltage has my attention(and money).

Pixel Art can be fun.

@ smoked hostage

remember that factor 5 were a second party dev even though none of their titles wer epublsihed by nintendo. There partnership was to provide middleware. now that factor 5 are developing a nintendo published game its likey the firm could start providng nintendo with more game engines. i hope they become second party.

HVS will could go one of 2 ways. They could be like factor 5 and provide nintendo with the quantum 3 engine despite having their titles published by a third party. or they could be like headstrong games and make games for for nintendo and sega that are all wii exclusive

nintendo fanboy, but the good kind

proud soldier of nintopia

i hope so, the wii needs more RPG's.

RPG? Well I'm not a big fan of WRPGs but I'll keep my eyes peeled still.

2009 has a lot of Wii RPGS. :D

In other words, you never played a WRPG before.  You really need a 360 to play Fable 2 and Fallout 3.

2009 has many Wii RPGs but if The Conduit is great, then I can't why an RPG from HVS wouldn't blow away the competition.

If they put as much effort into it as they did for The Conduit, I would love to see it.

I wonder if TC will get low reviews who will want an RPG from them? :P

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

An RPG game from the makers of Conduit... would be awesome. The Wii could use more RPG's. I just hope it doesn't come out being like Hunter: Wayward on the PS2... Not a bad game... but not great either. I was happy I got it at a discount .

Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

High Voltage = Nintendo's next 2nd-party dev?

If they keep this up, they're going to be huge.

SEGA's publishing the game so I doubt they will.

All being second-party means is that you own yourself, but only put games out for a certain company.

SEGA publishing the game makes absolutely no difference there.

Well EXCUUUUUUUUUUSE ME...

He probably means WRPGs, since there are quite a number of JRPGs coming.
Something like Fallout or Mass Effect would be awesome on Wii, a good futuristic WRPG to counter the amazingness coming from Japan.
